Rakuten Keiba is the horseracing betting subsidiary of Japanese giant, Rakuten. Keiba, the Japanese term for horseracing, is extremely popular in the country, with more than 21,000 horse races held each year.
Majorly, horse racing is organized by the Japan Racing Association (JRA) and the National Association of Racing (NAR), and Rakuten Keiba streams races online to help viewers place bets.
KEY OBJECTIVES
1. Bring viewers into the fold: After successful campaigns with Rakuten Live, the Keiba wing contacted BeLive for solutions related to bringing live streams into the fold, while adding a layer of engagement to encourage its users to transition from third-party platforms to its website.
2. Technical help: While Rakuten Keiba has been actively hosting streams on platforms like YouTube, it needed a lot of help in setting up real-time interactive features in-house.

- Admin comments in different colors to differentiate between users and moderators
- Allow admin to remove inappropriate comments
- Allow clickable URL links for selected links only
- Profanity filter for both Japanese and English
