Students in Singapore’s education system undergo various arts appreciation programs in schools. NGS aims to disrupt the traditional way of classroom learning and make art appreciation more interactive, immersive and entertaining.

THE SOLUTION
Supported by Singapore Tourism Board’s SG Tourism Accelerator Program, National Gallery Singapore partnered with BeLive Technology to blend tech and science with art — Taking Art education and learning out of the Gallery through an educational live stream.
Students can now experience a virtual museum experience through their personal learning devices and engage directly with the museum guide and their peers through live chats, live polls and live quizzes. These allow them to experience art up-close instead of through traditional textbook learning, fostering their appreciation for the arts.
